$10 billion in borrowed money is at stake today in the New Jersey Supreme Court. The Court is expected to hear arguments from republicans in New Jersey today who oppose Governor Phil Murphy’s plan to borrow a large amount of money to help plug budget gaps caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The GOP believes that Murphy does not have the authority to borrow that much money.
