The National Weather Service has posted a coastal flood warning from 6 am on Thursday to 6 am on Friday. The potential remains for coastal flooding throughout South Jersey but it appears the worst of it could come the more south you are. The report says Cape May could see 8 feet tides on Thursday at high tide around 11:05 am and 8.5 feet at around 11:59 am on Friday. Meanwhile Atlantic City is predicted to be 7 and 7.5 feet respectively. If you live in areas that are typically impacted by coastal flooding, you should move your vehicles and necessary precautions you usually take to ensure property isn’t damaged.
