Hunters will be out in full force in northern New Jersey Monday for the first day of the New Jersey Bear Hunt. For the fifth consecutive years, hunters will help the state by thinning out the herd of black bears. Experts believe a few hundred bears will be killed during the hunt. During the four year hunt to date, the number of bears killed annually has declined.
