BEACH VISITORS UNDERSTAND WHY NO OCEAN ACCESS DURING HOLIDAY

Beach visitors understood up and down the coast why they were not allowed in the ocean during the Labor Day holiday weekend.  Pounding rough surf from Hermine keep the public out of the ocean despite sunny skies on Saturday afternoon and Sunday.  Local beach patrols may keep visitors out of the ocean again on Monday as the storm continues to sit in the North Atlantic, a few hundred miles away from the Garden State.
