A major beach fill will begin within in the next week. The Borough of Avalon will be getting a beach fill that will begin by Sunday. The project is split cost wise between Avalon and Sea Isle City, with Sea Isle getting the fill immediately after. A meeting is going to be held between Avalon, Sea Isle City, Great Lakes Dredge and Dock Company, and engineers to go over the plans and what will take place during the project.
