BAT VISITS FAMILY HOME IN MIDDLE, FAMILY GETS SHOTS

Middle Township authorities say a local family had to get rabies shots after a bat made its way inside their home and tested positive for rabies.  The bat was inside a home in Swainton nearly two weeks ago and sent to a state lab where it tested positive for rabies.  The parents and children inside the home have to get a series of rabies shots over two weeks.
