Republican freeholders may have a fight in this year’s election. The Press of Atlantic City reports that former Middle Township Committeeman Steve Barry and attorney Elizabeth Casey will seek the freeholder seats currently occupied by Gerry Thornton and Marie Hayes. Petitions were due by April 1st.
