BACKING MUSICIAN WITH OWL CITY CHARGED IN ATLANTIC COUNTY FOR TRYING TO LURE TEEN

A former backing musician with the musical act Owl City has been charged with trying to lure a teen while playing a show in Atlantic City. Owl City played the former Showboat Casino in 2013 and Daniel Jorgensen was indicted by a grand jury for attempting to lure a 14-year-old back to his hotel room. According to authorities, he committed criminal sexual contact on the beach and then tried to get the girl back to his hotel room. Bail was set at $100,000.
