IT’S A BABY..ON THE GARDEN STATE PARKWAY

A baby boy entered the world on Thursday on the Garden State Parkway.  State Police say they helped deliver a baby boy on the Parkway early Thursday morning in Wall Township when a Lakewood woman suddenly went into labor.  Two troopers assisted with the delivery, and one wrapped the baby in his work shirt and presented the boy to his mother.  Both the baby and his mother were taken to a nearby hospital, and both are doing well.
