A baby blue heron found injured on Monday was released into the wild on Thursday in Cape May. Local residents Ashley Hansen and Marina Duran found the baby heron stuck in a tree with a fishing line caught in it’s beak. The bird was rehabilitated by the Nature Center of Cape May this week and deemed fit to be returned to it’s habitat on Thursday.
