AVALON’S “TURKEY TROT” DRAWS OVER 600 RUNNERS

More than 600 runners and walkers participated in Friday’s “Turkey Trot” in Avalon.  The 5k run/1.5 mile was was held to support the Helen L. Diller Vacation Home for Blind Children in Avalon.  The Home provides a summer vacation to visually impaired children who may not otherwise enjoy a summer vacation at the beach.  The Turkey Trot kicked off Avalon’s popular “Festive Friday” celebration.
