AVALON’S SCHEDULED POWER OUTAGE SLATED FOR TUESDAY

Tuesday, at 4:00pm.  That’s when a scheduled, 20-minute power outage will affect areas of Avalon north of 61st Street.  Atlantic City Electric was going to cut the power last week but postponed the outage due to weather concerns.  The outage is needed to power down an old substation that is being replaced with a brand new substation to serve Avalon.
