Avalon’s beach fill project will resume this weekend after being suspended so the dredge could finish a job in Cape May. Avalon officials report that the beach fill is about halfway completed and could be wrapped up on or about Mother’s Day weekend. Nearly 1 million cubic yards of sand is being placed on the north end beaches.
