Good news for beach goers in Avalon. Officials there say a beach fill project in the community will be wrapped up this week. Around 600,000 cubic yards of sand have been placed on the beaches of Avalon. The project included 9th St. down to 26th St. Pumping is expected to be done by late Wednesday or early Thursday. All equipment should be out of the area by Saturday. This beach fill is a joint project with Sea Isle City.
