AVALON TO RECEIVE LARGE BEACH FILL BEFORE SUMMER

The Borough of Avalon will be getting a huge beach fill project before the heart of the summer season.  Borough Council unanimously approved a $6.3 million contract with Great Lakes Dredge and Dock Company to put sand on the beaches in Avalon from 8th Street south to 26th Street.  The contract calls for all of the work to be completed before June 29th.
