A major beach fill project may be coming to Avalon this spring. Avalon’s Borough Council is scheduled to consider a beach fill project that could result in as much as 700,000 cubic yards of sand on the Borough’s north end beaches this spring. Mayor Marty Pagliughi says that it’s possible the Borough could save several million dollars thanks to a competitive bidding process.
