Avalon’s Council met Wednesday and discussed a back passing beach fill project that will occur this spring. The Borough plans on relocating at least 40,000 cubic yards of sand from the south end beaches back to the north end beaches, at the sand’s place of origin. Avalon Business Administrator Scott Wahl announced during the meeting that the construction of the new Peermont Substation may be wrapped up by Mother’s Day weekend.
