AVALON, STONE HARBOR, NORTH WILDWOOD SCORE BIG WIN ON HEREFORD INLET

Avalon, Stone Harbor, and North Wildwood scored a major win over a sand battle involving Hereford Inlet.  The three towns took their fight to use non-federal emergency funding for sand in the Inlet for beach fills to the Department of Interior.  Secretary David Bernhardt issued a ruling Monday afternoon saying the towns were right, and the sand can be used.  The meeting was put together by Congressman Jeff Van Drew.
