Avalon Police will participate in a nationwide program this Saturday to take back unwanted prescription drugs. Avalon Police Chief William McCormick announced today that the Borough will accept the prescription medication this Saturday from 10:00am until 2:00pm at the Public Safety Building on Dune Drive. The program is an annual effort by the Drug Enforcement Agency.
