Avalon Police are asking the public to drop off any unwanted or expired prescription drugs on Saturday. The Borough is participating in a drug take back program between the hours of 10am and 2pm at the Borough’s Public Safety Building. Last year, Americans turned in 309 tons of drugs during the one day event that is held in thousands of communities nationwide.
