Avalon Police have charged a 27 year old Middle Township man with Obstruction of Justice as they continue to investigate an assault that occurred in the Borough during the recent Memorial Day weekend.
Avalon Police Chief David Dean announced that Ryan J. Davies of Cape May Court House has been charged with Obstruction of Justice stemming from an aggravated assault that took place in Avalon on Friday, May 28th near the intersection of Ocean Drive and 21st Street. The male victim of the assault suffered a significant eye injury from broken glass and is expected to have several additional surgeries in an effort to regain his eyesight.
