AVALON PLANS NORTH END BEACH FILL

The Borough of Avalon is planning for a north end beach fill before the summer.  Avalon’s Borough Council is expected to approve an ordinance on second reading on February 11th that would finance a beach fill that would address beach erosion from 9th Street south for about 15 blocks.  The next step will be getting a successful bidder for the project who can do the work before the start of the summer tourism season.
