AVALON OPENS NEW DUNE AND BEACH PATH TRAIL

Avalon has a new dune and beach path trail for naturists and environmentalists to explore. Mayor Marty Pagliughi opened the new trail along with the Avalon Environmental Commission before the weekend. Avalon obtained county open space funding to pay for ten interpretive signs along the trail in the Borough’s high dunes along 44th Street and 48th Street. Another major component of the grant, a new community park at 39th Street and Dune Drive, will open in a few weeks.
