AVALON MOVING SCHOOL ELECTIONS TO NOVEMBER

Avalon is the latest Cape May County community to be moving its school elections to November.  The Avalon Borough Council endorsed a measure by the Avalon Board of Education to move its school elections from April to November in an attempt to increase voter participation.  The move to November voting will be in effect for at least four years in Avalon and is expected to save taxpayers at least $4,000.
