The Avalon Borough Council met Wednesday evening and advanced a plan to create its own Watershed Management Plan. The plan will help Avalon improve its flood resiliency rating by the federal government and potentially further increase the Borough’s 25 percent discount on flood insurance premiums offered to property owners.
