A major back bay dredging project in Avalon gets underway sometime this week. A company will be dredging private boat slips at Princeton Harbor behind Avalon in advance of a larger dredge that will remove mud and debris from the channel. The goal for the Borough is to have Princeton Harbor completely dredged before the end of the year when various environmental restrictions put the dredging project on hold until next September.
