The Avalon Borough Council will hold a special meeting late Thursday afternoon to replace its current municipal clerk. Avalon’s Council is expected to appoint Marie Hood to the position of Municipal Clerk replacing Georgann Berardis. The clerk’s position is the only issue appearing on Council’s agenda for the special meeting on Thursday.
