The threat of inclement weather has cancelled a Memorial Day Parade in Avalon. Mayor Martin Pagliughi announced that the Borough’s annual ceremony will still be held, but indoors. Avalon joins American Legion Post #331 for the Memorial Day ceremony Monday at 9:00am inside Avalon’s Community Hall at 30th Street and the beach.
