AVALON AWARDS ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICE

The Avalon Borough Council awarded a contract to Animal Control of South Jersey for animal control services within the Borough for 2014. The contract was awarded during the January 29th meeting of the Avalon Borough Council during a unanimous 4-0 vote. The Borough solicited quotes from three certified animal control officers and awarded the contract to Animal Control of South Jersey for the sum of $11,000. Stephen Serwatka will now serve as the Animal Control Officer for the Borough of Avalon for 2014. Animal Control of South Jersey submitted the lowest of the three bids provided to the Borough.
