AVALON ACHIEVES MILESTONE IN FORESTRY MANAGEMENT

Avalon is the home of one of the few maritime forests in the State of New Jersey.  The Borough has now achieved its third, five-year approval of a Community Forestry Management Plan.  Mayor Martin Pagliughi cites input from local volunteers and trusted experts to manage the forest and Avalon’s other tree issues.  The plan was approved by the New Jersey State Forest Service.
