AUDIT SHOWS NOT ENOUGH FACE-TO-FACE MEETINGS WITH SEX OFFENDERS

An audit of the New Jersey Parole Board found that more than half of sampled sexual offenders did not have face-to-face contact with a parole officer. The Office of Legislative Service released the audit that found 32 out of 60 didn’t have to check in face-to-face. The audit also found  that 48 out of 100 convicted of violent crimes also didn’t have to go through this check.
