ATTORNEY GENERAL PROVIDES MONEY FOR STUN GUN PURCHASE

The cost of stun guns is slowing their use by police in the state. The state Attorney General’s office has offered $1 million to help local police department to purchase the guns. The office says that the use of a stun gun can save a life and gives officers yet another option before having to use deadly force. Each county will get a grant of between $30,000 and $60,000
