ATLANTIC COUNTY TO HOST OPEN HO– USE OF NURSING HOME

An open house will be held at an Atlantic County nursing home. The public is invited to tour the new sub-acute care unit of the recently renamed Meadowview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center during an open house celebration on Wednesday, October 30, 10 AM to 2 PM, at 235 Dolphin Avenue in Northfield. The 180-bed, county-owned and operated facility recently designated a sub-acute care unit to provide a comprehensive program for patients in need of short-term recovery as a result of injury, illness or hospital stay. Sub-acute services aim to return patients home quickly and safely. The unit offers physical, occupational and speech therapies in addition to daily activities training, wound and IV therapy.
