A 21 year old Atlantic County man is dead, the victim of a tragic accident early Monday morning on the Garden State Parkway. New Jersey State Police confirm that Jason Markert of Galloway Township lost his life when his SUV went off the Parkway in Ocean County near milepost 62. Markert’s vehicle flipped and hit several trees before coming to a rest. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.
