ATLANTIC COUNTY CONFIRMS CASE OF WEST NILE VIRUS

The first case of human West Nile Virus this year in Atlantic County was confirmed on Tuesday. Officials did not release any details of the victim’s identity, but said they are recovering at home under a doctor’s care. Cumberland County officials have urged their residents to eliminate standing water from their properties, due to widespread reports of a growing mosquito population.
