Atlantic City is down to 11 casinos again. The Atlantic Club Casino shut down as of midnight on Sunday into Monday. A number of casinos in the resort and some from out the area helped hire some of the workers who were out of a job. The Atlantic Club was almost saved months ago when it was set to be sold to PokerStars, but the sale fell through. It is the only time when a casino was shut down in the city without the promise at least of a bigger casino to be built in its place.
