ATLANTIC CITY: WOMAN PUNCHED IN FACE, PURSE STOLEN

Buying the daily newspaper cost a woman much more than one dollar. Atlantic City Police say a 68-year-old woman was assaulted on Wednesday morning in the city after buying a paper near the corner of South Carolina and Atlantic avenues. Her purse was taken and she suffered injuries from being punched in the face. The unidentified woman was taken to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center for treatment.
