Atlantic City officials have announced plans to welcome some so-called sports tourism to the resort in 2016. City officials announced that a “Play AC” sports tourism initiative will be held at Harrah’s next year and it’s expected to bring 1,400 sports executives to the resort for a conference. The event will be held next September and will be attended by big names in the sports event industry.
