Atlantic City Police arrested a 16 year-old male after responding to a report of an armed robbery in the 1600 block of Atlantic Avenue on Saturday evening. Officers were searching for a robbery suspect when they observed the teen grab his front waistband and hurried away. He was stopped by the officers and found to have a loaded handgun in his waistband. While the teen was not a suspect in the robbery, he was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and taken to the Harborfields juvenile detention facility in Egg Harbor City.
