ATLANTIC CITY SHUTS DOWN NEEDLE EXCHANGE PROGRAM

In a very controversial vote, Atlantic City officials Wednesday night voted 7-2 to shut down its needle exchange program.  City officials took nearly three hours of testimony on the proposal.  Oasis is a center run by the South Jersey Aids Alliance and had provided services including clean syringes.
