ATLANTIC CITY PRESENTS RECOVERY PLAN TO STATE OFFICIALS

On Tuesday Atlantic City Mayor Don Guardian led a contingency of officials from the city to Trenton and met privately with state officials to discuss their recovery plan. The group met with members of the Department of Community Affairs for two hours to review the financial recovery plan and answer questions from the state. If the plan is approved, Atlantic City can carry it out on their own. If not, the state will take over Atlantic City’s finances for the next five years.
