Police coverage and security will be tight, with additional cameras and personnel provided by the Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness. The Miss America Organization has been assured protection from a coordination of local, regional and state law enforcement and emergency management officials. Up to 200,000 people are expected to visit Atlantic City for the pageant parade and competition.
