ATLANTIC CITY MAYOR CONFRONTED BY SHOOTING VICTIM’S MOTHER

Dozens of Atlantic City residents, including the mother of 18 year-old shooting victim Dereck Mack assembled at the home of Mayor Lorenzo Langford on Thursday night. Ruby Conde, the victim’s mother, wanted answers and an apology from the mayor in her son’s death. When Langford arrived at his house, he spoke to the crowd and told them the city was not in charge of the investigation. According to The Press of Atlantic City, Langford did not offer an apology and asked the group to allow the investigation to be completed.
