Atlantic County Prosecutor Ted Housel
A murder case from three years ago has had a man confess to that killing. The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office announced that Robert Ingram, 29, of 3 South Iowa Avenue, gunned down Marcus Brown, 25, of 1406 Cedar Court, across the street from Seashore Produce on the 1300 block of Reading Avenue in Atlantic City. On Monday, Ingram pleaded guilty to murder. In accordance with the plea agreement, Ingram will be sentenced to 30 years in New Jersey State Prison without the possibility of parole. Ingram is currently serving an eight-year sentence in New Jersey State Prison on unrelated charges.
