A 27 year-old Atlantic City man has been charged with murder in the death of Malik Green, who he shot in the neck with a sawed-off shotgun. Germaine Boothe pled guilty to aggravated assault in 2012 for shooting Green at a local bar, causing the victim to be paralyzed from the neck down. After Green died in Jan. 2014, an additional investigation resulted in the filing of murder charges against Boothe, who could face an additional 30 years to life in state prison.
