ATLANTIC CITY LAWMAKERS PUSH BACK HARD ON EFFORT TO CHANGE GOVERNMENT

Atlantic City lawmakers pushed back hard Thursday on a proposal that would change the form of city government.  Elected officials held a press conference to announce that they oppose the petition drive because it will take control away from the city and its residents.  An investigation has been called for to verify the legality of the petition drive.
