ATLANTIC CITY ELECTRIC TO RAISE RATES BY NEARLY FOUR PERCENT

Rates are going up for Atlantic City Electric.  The utility announced today that rates will be climbing by 3.89 percent in part to offset the costs for greater resiliency with infrastructure improvements.  The new rate hike should generate an additional $45 million for the company.  The company says customers have experienced a 41 percent reduction in the number of outages due to various improvements.
