ATLANTIC CITY ELECTRIC: SOME HOMES STILL WAITING FOR POWER

Monday will be the seventh day since severe thunderstorms hit South Jersey..and that’s also the day when Atlantic City Electric expects to get the power back for all customers.  The utility announced late on Sunday that there are still thousands of customers with no power, but they can expect the lights to go back on sometime on Monday.  Atlantic City Electric says eight substations suffered damage last Tuesday, and 20 transmission lines were blown down by strong winds.
