ATLANTIC CITY COUNCIL TO CONSIDER FATE OF MUA

The Atlantic City Council will try again on Wednesday to dissolve their MUA, to satisfy their $73 million loan agreement with the state. Terms of the loan require the city to dissolve their Municipal Utilities Authority by Sept. 15th, because their assets would be used as collateral should the city fail to pay back the loan. City council has failed five times to approve a resolution to dissolve the MUA.
