The Atlantic City Council is planning to make two moves that could bring much-needed funding to the city in the shadow of a takeover by the New Jersey state government. The Press of Atlantic City reports that at tonight’s council meeting, decisions could be made on dissolving the local MUA and selling the Bader Field property at auction for $155 million. State officials say the actions will not solve the long range financial woes of the city and that a state takeover is imminent.
